Rena Feit Shagan
Rena Shagan has spent most of her life in the performing arts, mostly in the dance field, and is responsible for the North American performances of companies like the Martha Graham Dance Company, Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch, The Forsythe Company, and for the musician/composer, Meredith Monk, among others.
Rena Shagan Associates, Inc. (RSA) has grown to become one of the leading arts management firms in the world. Its philosophy is to serve artists on a one-on-one basis, nurturing their creative process, representing their best interests, and collaborating on how to market their work.
In January 2020, Rena Shagan won the Association of Performing Arts Professional’s most important award, the Fan Taylor Prize for Exemplary Service to the Field of Professional Presenting. She is also winner of Dance/USA’s Trustees Award for her outstanding work on behalf of the field of dance.
She authored, "Booking and Tour Management for the Performing Arts, the “bible” on booking and tour management used by Arts Administrators world-wide.
